The First Week of BlogX: Complete!

September 19, 2011 — 2 Comments

Well, week one of BlogX is now complete! I’ve really enjoyed being challenged in my blogging and getting new ideas to implement in my writing flow. Here are some of the changes I’ve made this week:

I’ll now be blogging on the weekends.

I’ll also be posting daily quotes from my reading under the category Quotes.

Ideally, when I review books from now on, I’ll post several quotes in advance and then gather the links onto the review post.

I’ve mainly been using book reviews as a way to stay consistent in writing, but I definitely do not want this blog to just be a book review corner (though I do want to keep you up to date on some great books out there!) I’ve decided, though not announced, that I’ll be posting less book reviews and more category driven content writing. Last week this included these posts:

In addition, I updated my bio and invited you the reader to interact more and announced we were the new youth leaders at our church and asked for your prayers as we start that.

All in all, pretty good for  a week here on the blog! Hope you’ve enjoyed it and stay tuned for where BlogX will take us this coming week!
